A Revelation...

...which was revealed to me just now, by unexpected happenstance but thoroughly welcomed even if I still do carry the residuals of resistant disbelief...

Chapbooks and Little Snippets of the Psyche...

I'm a believer that everyone should write their autobiography at some point in their life; or, at the very least, tiny little chapters depicting the events going on inside one's head. I do believe these little chapbooks are fairly self-explanatory as to what was going on in my head at the time(and, unfortunately, are now an indelible stain on my brain) and needed to come out. Fair warning to those of you who may oneday, perchance, stumble upon the opportunity to read my little chapbooks- they are 100% crude, irreverant, and not for the faint-of-heart set. Enjoy.

Worse Than the Disease

My second glass of wine
goes down easier
than the first
Chardonnay, if you please
and what if the cure IS
worse than the disease?
number three gets closer
to the top
of the crystal rim
my third glass of wine, that is
no longer the bitter
sting of alcohol on my tongue
yes, it puts me such at ease
I no longer think of
that coffin-like tube, the MRI
life-saving thing that pictures
me inside
which makes a coward out of me
more Chardonnay, if you please,
my cure is worse than the disease...

Calm After the Storm

I will welcome the Mother of the World
I will weave an unbreakable thread
I will not fear to sail tumultuous seas
I will embody Mother Peace
I will bathe in the rays of the morning star
I will rejoice in travails and obstacles
and I will relish
Calm after the storm.

The Decision

If you were offered the opportunity of being called "Blessed" for generations to come, but at the price of a proverbial "sword piercing your heart," would you take it?

Heal Thyself

Is it possible?

The Birds

This image was inspired by my first horrow flick, Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." Several species of birds were feasting on winter red berries, getting quite drunk and dive-bombing in and out of the trees.
